Tutorial & demo here 👉 How to use the plank mapper

You buy it, you own it. Use it for what you want. But don't transfer it to someone else.

Fully procedural plank floors never look quite photoreal. However, image textures aren't very flexible. This node—which I use for all my interior work—bridges these workflows. It arranges photos of planks in a procedural pattern to give you a photoreal floor that you design yourself.

The node has sliders for things like length, offset, and bevel size. It consists of sub-nodes that are all useful in their ways. Take it apart and play with it all. I am especially proud of the multi-texture node. It detects how many image textures you feed it, and adjusts accordingly. Never have I seen this technique used before.
